20160412 Gout Attacks

2016-04-04  - had my first attack on my right big toe.  Very painful and did not get better with 4 advil (200 mg each) nor 4 naproxen sodium (250 mg each).  I went to the doctor to get a prescription of colchicine (helps to lower uric acid) and indomethacin (NSAID, painkiller).  The indomethacin did not seem to do much.  But after about a week I am at least walking fairly normally again.  Next time I will remind the doctor that the indomethacin did not work very well.
